As expected, Merida uses her newfound powers to show everyone up. While I feel like the anime did try to portray her own powers independent of the mana from Kufa, they could have done a much better job with it overall. The character interactions though…really not feeling it.
On the bright side, we are getting a bit deeper into the class system now, which is my draw to the series in the first place. Still doesn’t explain how no one spots the obvious not-Paladin powers of Merida though…
