I feel like this season is what define MT truly about. If you dont like this season, low chance if the story is for you imo
After avoiding the entire isekai genre for years I finally gave Mushoku Tensei a chance a few months back and I don't think I could have asked for a better starting point. I was legitimately shocked how great the series is and I caught myself liking it a lot. I also know that many people hate MT simply for Rudy but I thought his character development was incredibly interesting.
In any case, I'm excited for season 2.

Come on bro…I like demon slayer as well, but there is no denying the show has been shallow as hell and has had nothing going for it but the visuals. It was airing around the same time 86 was for god sake. It’s not some “work of art” in the story sense and we all know that
I still don't have much care for the cast of characters in this series. But I guess it's enjoyable to watch Rudy go through mental anguish.
