Ys Origin was superb. I played 8 on Vita, but I do want to get it on Switch also.
Ultra Age is one I've heard tons of praise for.
Monarch and Torna were both recently added to the backlog.
Can someone tell me if Death End improved its framerates? I wanted to like that game, but the fps was borderline unplayable at release.
Just a question about Ni No Kuni. Do I need to play part 1 before 2? I've actually had 2 for some time but I haven't started it yet. So I just wanna know if I can if not I'm gonna grab part 1 before I start.
And my backlog just increased again. Picking up Ultra Age because of you. For any one that hasn't played SMT5 yet, what are you waiting for? That game was amazing.
Is Tensei 3 no longer affordable? At least I have half of these now.
Seeing Digimon Survive here on this list is honestly great to see more people talking about it since it did get overlooked around that time.
isn't ultra age more like a devil may cry/bayonetta/ninja gaiden action game? I wouldn't really categorize it as an action rpg since it belongs to the action hack n slash genre

I’ve been sleeping on Ultra Age too but your recommendation convinced me so I’m going to reserve it too and finally play it. I got Digimon Survive for $17 on Black Friday. Also you responded to a comment of mine a few weeks ago and asked for my thoughts on Xenoblade 3 once I beat it. After a few months I FINALLY lol beat it two days ago. I LOVED it. I still think Xenogears is the best Xeno game but Xenoblade 3 was really good. I loved how close the six main characters got to each other especially considering how they got together. Awesome video as always, brother.

Speaking on Ni no Kuni 1, I still have to get around to checking out Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn. It's the DS original of Ni no Kuni 1. Never localized, just a fan translation. It's a grid based RPG that's more tactics based from what I've been told.

Hmmm I got monster hunter stories 1 but someday I will have to find someone who is really good at taking care of their 3ds or something. I'm trying to play my 2ds xl nice and slowly just to play fire emblem echoes and monster hunter stories. Also the rest of my games one last time. Damn I missed the 3ds games and I wish I could play Pokemon white again but nope they don't got it anymore.( Question does Monark still has frame ploblem on the switch)

I don't want to bash Y's VIII. But it didn't click with me, but i can see why it's good. I played Y's Ark of Napishtim on PS2 back in the day when it was first released, it was my first Y's and a love it. Is Y's Origins more like that or are der more Y's games like Ark?

Awesome video and couldn't agree more about how amazing SMT V is, a word of warning on playing it as your first SMT game though, I think it'll make getting into previous games like Nocturne all the more difficult since V has so many quality of life conveniences and such smooth difficulty progression!
I own most of these on switch or pc. Monark got a major hit to what I am willing to pay with no English audio.
Ys 8, i will probably get on steam at some point.
Digimon Survive I almost grabbed when it was $17 at gamestop but I wasn't going to pay $8 in shipping. At the same time, it means that I'm not willing to pay more than like, $20 for it now.
I'll say it……. Ys 8 is a masterpiece!!
Now if only Ys 9 could get some reprints and come down in price that would be awesome.
Also thanks for clarifying why I was able to get Torna for such a good price on Amazon recently. I had no idea it was getting a PAL reprint. If they could reprint Hades as well that help.
I've played through the demo of Ultra Age.
Easily the best 3D combat I've played in my life so far.
Add the bass pumping soundtrack & it makes Ultra Age pure fun!
shin V is great till the stuid idiotic wind fans level. NO one ever mentions this stupid as fffffffffffffffffffffffff section in reviews ruins intire game

Ys VIII was so good, I couldn't believe it. Start to finish, completely amazing. This will seem overboard to some, but I consider it on the level of Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest VIII. The charm factor is high, music is perfect, combat is fast and fun, I loved the story (Dana is one of the best characters ever)… Can't say enough.
Y's origin is on my list to get. I seen it on Amazon for $30 and plan on getting it in a month.
