Kazuya Souma, a 19-year-old ambitious civil servant, who has no family. He is unexpectedly teleported to the Elfrieden Kingdom, a tiny, sickly kingdom on another planet, to become a “hero.” The whole planet world is in jeopardy owing to an ongoing war with the demon army, and Elfrieden summons Kazuya to help in the struggle as an offering to its friends.
