In the Manga both actually begin to realize that they are in love with each other. And jirou starts to show this outwardly making shirou very anxious. It also causes a little drama in the love triangle.

It's depressing to be in jiro's shoes, because akari still had conflicting, undecided feelings, if she loves someone, she should cut, or set boundaries to another one she's trying to play safe, I kinda feel uneasy and sympathy about the emotions of mc. Now, I am little bit rooting for the childhood friend one, or at least give watanabe a hard time, since she also likes mc, to give a little balance of this depressing feeling. Akari should split the bridge if she's going after the blonde guy, if she's already starting to have feelings for the mc she should reconsider her actions still going after the blonde guy. She still blushes heavily being close around the blonde guy when they almost kissed and still gets upset to shiori being around blonde guy. The mc still being an emotional anchor for fmc whenever she feels sad about another guy, even though he himself started to have feelings to fmc, it takes a lot of gut's to be that strong for the girl you starting to love, being sad for another guy. I feel sad for the mc I kinda wanna sympathize him, not to enhance his sadness about her. His friend is such a tease, hey man, your friend was already depressed don't tease him more, his confidence is decreasing day by day.
Who reader the manga before the anime even out? If u do then I think we agree that he should just dump both of them for his own good …..but kind as he is he will suffer the most to not the them the hurt one..
Akari's "feelings" for Tenjin are superficial as hell. It's just the typical throw away crush you make up in your head during high school. She loves Jirou but kept trying to chase after Tenjin for zero reason
Half of me just hates akari just for the fact that she lets out all those feeling and emotions towards jirou even though she still likes minami kun still, I don't even know if she is just playing around with jirou and stuff while she still harbors those feelings towards minami kun or if she actually has feelings towards jirou while she likes her crush, like I don't even know anymore it just pisses me off for some reason.
