Any secrecy intelligence occupation cant have a person who goes through emotional distress like this idiot. Love how the Uncle was frustrated that he HAD to guilt trip the kid. Though I hate how the 3rd option wasn't really an option but just a set up for the guilt tripping.
So why wasn't he raised in the clan as a ninja? I mean if he's supposed to take over as the head of the clan eventually isn't having him live a life completely opposite of the life he was meant to live sort of messed up. If she didn't want him to live the life of a ninja then why not have him adopted and hidden away? Why set him up for failure? Learning how to be a ninja takes a lifetime yet his mom decided to handicap him and set him up to be a failure. Hell what would have happened if he hadn't chickened out with the chick that was trying to seduce him, banged her, impregnated her and then she went all praying mantis on him and killed him? Guess that family line is gone now.
