ughhhhhh finally managed to finish this one up. YOASOBI is really doing this series justice–it’s not often that after a set of bangers in season 1, the anime manages to follow it up with another set of bangers in the next season. I’m looking at you, TenSura. This song slapped pretty hard, but it came to me to hit it with some of dem jazz voicings and reharm it a bit just to keep it more interesting for me. This was one of the songs that made me stay on the piano trying to play out what I just wrote down the longest this season. At that point, I might’ve as well just tried to play it live in a week (unfortunately daily uploads won’t wait for me to practice enough to record a live performance). A lot of 10ths in this again. Yeahhhhh I just can’t help it, they sound too juicy in this kind of vibe. At least most of these can be rolled with no real difference. I had a blast figuring things out on this song, really makes me sit back and remember the times when I spent a month working on a single song that season.
