    Edens Zero revolves around two main protagonists, Rebecca Bluegarden and Shiki, and is centered in a universe influenced by magic, machines, and the Cosmos. Humans and Machines coexist with one another; however, there are factions on both sides that deem the other as inferior and have enslaved them.

    Shiki has lived with machines in the Kingdom of Granbell his entire life. After being abandoned at birth, a machine (his "grandfather") adopted him, from whom he even learned how to use Ether gear. On the other hand, Rebecca is an aspiring B-Cuber who aims to be the best on the platform with her funny videos and her feline companion, Happy.

    On one of her expeditions, she discovers Granbells long-abandoned amusement park and sets off to make her next top video. She then meets a socially awkward person who has never interacted with another human. After they become acquainted, the machines on Granbell seem to malfunction, which forces Rebbeca, Shiki, and Happy to return to the Sakura Cosmo.
