I think what FF did is the most logical thing to do. Stand fights are all about outmaneuvering opponent and getting a jump on him gives tremendous advantage. FF tried to kill D&G first and got ambushed. She doesn't know how, was Pucci waiting and D&G is a trap or he just got here, or something else. You need to asses your situation to survive and to figure out whether D&G can actually be killed now and how.
Also she just had a fight when she did just that – continuously attack Kenzo without thinking about his stand and it almost got her and Jolyne killed if not for Anasui.
What i like most about jojo is that like many manga's it has this funny and dumb moments, but when in other series it'll be a glaring mistake or plothole, in jojo u don't need to think that far after initial reaction to figure out that what happened was both smart and in character given the circumstances and prior knowledge character has.
The timing in anime is always weird, in the manga the scene is a lot quicker to read, that gives the impression that in the anime the characters are so slow to do something.
It’s hilarious to me that Pucci’s Whitesnake doesn’t just make discs for Stands and memories but can work with regular CDs! And he uses it to make a mangled person a goddamn music player!

13:50 It's been a long time since I read the manga and I haven't watch the second half of this season so Idk what's gonna happen, but I feel like the reason FF was hesitating is that she needs to look at where she's gonna aim. And while she's looking away from Pucci, he could disappear. With D' and G' being dead, he'd have no reason to stay. And he could get away. And since he's the mastermind behind all this, FF doesn't want that.

I agree with your point that damage doesn't mean anything in Jojo for the most part. Part 1-2 Hamon had natural healing, Part 3 had Speedwagon medics, and 4-5 had a healer. The thing about 6 though is that the damage never really heals because FF isn't a dedicated healer. Their plankton healing ability is the equivalent of stuffing a wound with gauze and then wrapping it with a bandage. Not trying to spoil anything here but when you see these injuries, they will stay and they will play a big role in how fights play out later.
Even now, Weather Report is gone for the majority of this batch of episodes from taking damage during a single fight. Same thing with Ermes. I think Araki realized that this part needed wounds to matter in order to justify later events in the plot and also to create the necessary tension that comes from an arc set in a prison.
