13 About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”

Wow, what a devotional, and just at the right time, as Dr Stanley mentioned a season when he felt all alone but he knew God was still with him, I have the same feelings right now, I feel like another chapter of my life has closed, I'm entering a new season, I will not let grief consume me this time, as it did when I lost my daughter and my moma, I will keep my eyes on God and he will get me thru😌 hey y'all I'm praying for my sisters and brothers to have a blessed and beautiful weekend, I love y'all all and agian thank you for the prayers for my son and myself 💙🙏🤍

Wow.
The storm lasted what seemed as endless days and the men in the boat did not know the God of heaven was aware of their circumstances and was with them, to save them.
They did not think God was with them.
They did not feel God was with them.
They did not see God was with them.
But He was.
Remaining hopeful is definitely an act of intentionality. Most days I have complete dominance over my flesh/emotions but then there are some days when it seems like it's the other way around 😕
Nonetheless, during those more challenging times the Lord is always faithful! He will sternly, yet lovingly, catch my eye (or ear) with a word/message that brings my focus back unto Him 🥰

I remain hopeful in my Lord Jesus Christ. For he will never forget me. Keep his word holy. Praise his holy name!

life more downs than ups
Me and my family have been without hot water for the last 6 months, we were quoted 3000$ to have it fixed, we couldn’t afford that so we had to keep looking. We went to Lowes and the hot water heater was $600 and I kid you not, $1600 just to have it installed. Every day we praised God for our electricity and water that we heated to bathe, and last week October 26, me and my daughter installed our brand new hot water heater, ourselves, and it’s only through God that we were able to do this. We praise God and I’m telling everyone what He’s done and is doing in our lives. I had to share because I’m so very Grateful and non deserving of His Endless Strength and Power.
Thank you Jesus for the gift of life and blessings to me and my family.$32,000 weekly profit Our lord Jesus have lifted up my Life!!!

I Remain Hopeful
June 28, every year, depending on the day, that date falls on, is graduation day for Pre-k. Every year, at the end of the year, I always feel a little sad( who am I kidding, alot sad) that these little faces that I have grown accustomed to are on their way to meet new faces, and to go to new places, and to journey and find new spaces. So when I plan for this most exciting day, I sit at my desk, and start to plan. I think of things they've said, things they've done, tears they've cried and tempers, sometimes, too hard to deal with. The song we always sing is " I Am Special ", because they are. It takes so much purposeful effort to make children believe that they are special and unique in their own way. And that nothing this world tells them, they are to believe that, with conviction, of the heart. So with all this in mind, I choose the play, the songs, and the dances.

Monkies
We begin and practice a month in advance. All the while I hope that all will go well. When they practice Henny Penny, I hold my breath and hope they all remember their lines on that day. When they dress up like frogs, and hop their little hearts away, I hope no one falls. When they jump like monkeys, I hope no one gets hit by a moving arm. In great anticipation when graduation day comes, my heart is filled with so many emotions. Sad to see them leave, elated to see their progress and hopeful for their tomorrow. This day is filled with so much hope, that all will go well. Sometimes things go just as I planned and other times they go in a different direction, and then there are times when you wish the day would start all over again. But every year it never fails, my hope comes to fruition. We all came out of it in one piece.
I believe God also has hope for us as well. Oh, He knows the outcome of our decisions, but purhaps He hopes we choose wisely. He has a plan for each and everyone of us, and when plan A doesn’t work, He quickly moves to plan B
Once again, I believe He hopes we choose wisely. I believe when He gave us freedom of choice, that might have been His way of hope for us.
Heavenly Father God what a wonderful God You are, that gives us hope for our today's and our tomorrow's. Sometimes our hope can be crushed by others, but if we stand on Your solid ground, the word that brought this world into existence, then hope is never lost. At 72, I finally realize that faith in God does not protect us from Life's problems and it's up and downs, what it does do is allow us to see them differently and recognize God's Providence through them. It also allows us to react to those things very differently than we did before we had a Relationship with Him.

I will fix my gaze on God and His Word for I have learned that only Jesus can lift me up and rescue me.
Misery only lasts for a time. Birth pangs signal birth.
Rest in God's faithfulness – even if we don't understand why we're undergoing a trial, we can know God is in control of it, and that He will see us through.
I've a long way to go, but Jesus is worthy.
