ここ数年、ずっと気に入って着けているネックレス。1883年のコイン。僕のアナザースカイ、ハワイがアメリカになった年。それまでは、独立しているハワイ王国⁈王朝⁈だったらしい…。
今は2017年だから、えっとぉ…（笑）計算機…。2017-1883=134年前のコイン。
日本は明治16年。僕が死ぬ頃には、200年近く前のコインになるんだなぁと、何歳まで生きれるのかなと考えた。
365日×平均寿命80歳=29200日。
たった3万日弱、いや、そこまで生きれるのは奇跡だ。だからこそムダに過ごしたくない。
文章書くのは好きだけど、数字は今も苦手だなぁ。
これからだって、金で動くような人間にはなりたくない…。
金で人を動かすような人間にもなりたくないな…。
自分は、気持ちで動いたその対価として、お金をいただくような、そんな人間でありたい…。
人には、気持ちで動いていただいた対価として、お金を支払うような、そんな人間でありたい…。
理想論かもしれないけど、そう願う。
いつまでも…。.

For the last few years I’ve worn this necklace – it’s a coin from 1889. I wore this on a program called “Another Sky” and it’s also the year Hawaii became a state of America. Before that Hawaii was an independent country and called The Kingdom of Hawaii.
It’s 2017 now so let me calculate… 2017 minus 1883 equals 134. This coin is 134 years old. In Japan it was Meiji 16, meaning by the time I die, this coin will be around 200 years old. (Well, I guess it depends on how long I live). 365 days multiplied by 80 (the average life span) equals 29200 days. I have only less than 30 thousand days left! Will I be able to live that long? I really don’t want to waste time. .
I like to write but I’m not so good with numbers… .
I never want to become a person influenced by money. .
Neither do I want to influence people with money.
I want to only accept money reciprocated by my work that I put much passion and emotions into.
It may sound too idealistic but I pray that I can always remain humble.
