How do you help your little ones stay organized? “Child’s wardrobe made simple: 1) Only a handful of t-shirt choices and 2) nearly uniform bottoms (in our case knit “jegging” jeans or shorts with elastic waistbands). The drawer on top holds similarly simple pajama choices and undies. And literally. That’s it. All folded KonMari style for ease of use, organization, and tidiness. Charlotte and Simon don’t disrupt a pile trying to remove a shirt from the bottom of the pile. In the winter we rotate out the short sleeves for long sleeves. Summer brings shorts instead of jeans. But the formula stays the same. They don’t own any more shirts or pants than this. We keep a jacket or two in the coat closet along with socks and a limited number of pairs of shoes (3 maximum). One or two dressier outfits are hung higher up in the closet for special occasions. Of all the parenting choices we’ve made keeping a simple wardrobe since birth is at the top of my list as one of the good ones. How do you keep your children’s wardrobe? Would you benefit from something a little simpler?” – via @midwestmontessori 👕👖👟 #repost #kidsfashion #konmarimethod #sparkjoy #organized #kids
