Mackenyu is set to reprise his role as Wataya Arata in the NTV summer drama Chihayafuru Meguri.
He talks about returning as Wataya Arata 10 years after the Chihayafuru movie trilogy, who is now the current Karuta Meijin, reuniting with Kamishiraishi Mone, what Chihayafuru meant to him, and left a wholesome message for the new cast ☺️
Mackenyu will appear in the 7th episode, scheduled to air on NTV on Wednesday 20th August 2025. The drama is also airing weekly on netflix.
