Do you keep starting a new notebook before finishing a previous one? A few reasons that might explain why and what to do instead:
1. You don’t want to read what you wrote down earlier out of embarrassment -> use a notebook with perforated sheets so you can discard what you don’t want to read any longer, transfer the ideas you do want to keep elsewhere, but still finish the notebook.
2. The notebook contained everything from to-do lists to business meeting notes to phone numbers -> designate functions for notebooks from the start and try not to deviate from their purposes. Put event dates and deadlines into the planner immediately, lists on scrap or disposable pad paper, and ideas worth keeping in the notebook.
3. Your new notebook looked pristine and too beautiful not to write in. -> it will seem even more so when its function is defined and previous notebooks used up. 🙂 via @marindevdb #journaling #notebook #writing #reflection #todolist #spark #joy #lifechaning #magic
