Bunshogama has been pursuing to recreate the same quality of porcelain as Japan had in 1616, when the first porcelains were created. After numerous testing, they choose to use rare Izumiyama porcelain stone, shape them according to old-style techniques, and burn them in only brand new kilns. There are no other kilns like Bunshogama in the Arita region which place such great value on living with the nature and succeeding the true spirit of Japan.
