This post concerns an ongoing issue faced by fans who joined the early sales for BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR < DEADLINE > IN SINGAPORE

TL;DR:

For this concert, all buyers who purchased tickets before 21 Nov 2025, 12PM were placed under TDD, forced into PAH tickets, then charged extra reprint fees; While later buyers paid less for the same physical tickets.

Just like for NCT Dream's concert, Ticketmaster SG is penalising early buyers with higher fees.

Many early buyers may have paid without realising that their consumer rights could be violated. CASE has already offered to negotiate for my NCT DREAM complaint, so this is no longer just based on my personal interpretation of the Singapore law.

I’ve since created a Telegram group to help affected fans file complaints, track numbers and coordinate next steps. Some local media have already reached out — meaning this issue could grow bigger if more fans come forward.

🔹Situation before 21/11/25

After what happened with NCT DREAM, I checked other recent SG concerts and realised BLACKPINK ticketing also came under Ticket Delivery Delay (TDD). At first, all BLACKPINK sale phases were fully under TDD. That meant everyone was treated the same — unlike NCT DREAM where only Weverse presale was under TDD.

Ok seems fair, as all BLACKPINK ticket buyers are on equal grounds.

🔹 Situation after 21/11/25

However, things changed when additional seats were added on 21/11/25 12pm SGT.

For these new seats, buyers could directly choose venue collection of physical tickets for $5.

But for the earlier buyers of the same event, TM is charging:

$5 venue collection fee

+

$10/ticket reprint fee

= Total $15 (for 1 ticket)

So, these buyers got penalised simply for buying earlier, having to pay more for the same physical ticket, just like the NCT DREAM’s situation. Some BLINKs who wanted physical tickets may have backed down because of these unreasonable charges.

🔹 Why TM's Reprint Fee is Problematic — CASE Confirmed

Many BLINKs, like NCTzens earlier, don’t know that this reprint fee may be illegal under the CPFTA

Simply put, the CPFTA states that a seller cannot charge two groups of buyers different prices for the same product, unless this was disclosed before purchase. (Check out my earlier post for the detailed analysis of how the CPFTA apply to both BLACKPINK & NCT DREAM early ticket buyers.)

CASE has since offered negotiation to multiple NCTzens — including me. Their offers confirm this issue as a serious, VALID consumer dispute and it speak volumes.

🔹 Fans affected (NCT DREAM, BLACKPINK & more?)

So far, I only know these two SG concerts where Ticketmaster had used TDD → forced PAH e-ticket to impose reprint fees onto early buyers:

  • NCT DREAM TDS4SG
  • BLACKPINK DEADLINE SG

If there are more, please kindly inform me!

🔹 Call to Action for everyone affected

(This also applies even for those who don't collect physical tickets. I’ll explain the reason later below.)

➡️ File a complaint with CASE. It’s 100% free.

**(**International fans can file too, as long as your purchase was made through Ticketmaster SG!)

Many NCTzens filed and got offers for negotiation — the only reason most didn’t proceed with negotiation is because CASE membership + admin fees (for non-NTUC members) already exceeded the potential $10 refund that we could get. But the complaint itself is free.

So now, what we need is numbers, like the Sentosa incident, where CASE stepped in only after 68 complaints were filed. Customers who filed received full fee waivers & refunds.

As BLACKPINK had 3×55,000 seats sold out early, if only a tiny fraction reports this, we can still hit the needed numbers easily. The real problem is lack of awareness, which I’m hoping to raise through this post. Many fans simply don’t know they have the right to file a CASE complaint, and that even non-physical ticket collectors can make a difference.😭

Those who don’t collect physical tickets & did not pay any reprint fee, you should still file. Why? Because filing creates an official paper trail showing TM SG’s behaviour.

Ticketmaster has a global reputation of anti-consumer practices. Now, they are overcharging SG fans for physical tickets — if we don’t push back, who knows what will be next? Every complaint counts and helps keep them in check.
