Thanks for posting. Interesting match. A great fight back from Kasatkina (the Russian) in the 2nd set, but Osaka was too strong in the 3rd. Nice perseverance, good luck next round Naomi.
There was a big pile of moments when Kasatkina could have physically reached the ball and continued the game, but it seems she felt either lazy or tired for running from one side to another. I haven't found her willing to win the game. It's sad.
Osaka so dominant in the first set. Kasatkina knowing she had to turn up her game to compete, played so much better in the second set. But it was Naomi's day. Love to see Osaka win another US open!
