🎮 Maki Goto – Yokohama Shinkirou
This blew my mind — it’s not just a song, it’s an entire video game world packed into one MV.
What starts off feeling like a J-pop track quickly spirals into a Chinatown-inspired, neon-lit journey through Yokohama in the Kanagawa Prefecture, presented like it’s part of a lost PS2 visual novel or arcade dream.
The video game aesthetics, the city pop-meets-modern pop energy, and Goto’s charm just pull you right into a story full of mystery, longing, and digital illusion. This was one of the coolest concept videos I’ve seen all year.
🔁 Major shout-out to the Patreon fam for dropping this into my requests — this kind of track keeps my curiosity alive and well! If you know more from Maki Goto or similar artists, comment below and send me down the rabbit hole!
