Just remember – this is the guy who brutally, without any reson or cause, killed her husband in front of her. However, since the guy he killed was Asian, he is depicted as a sympathetic character. Name a movie/show where the opposite happens – a non-white character brutally killing a white character, and then being portrayed as a reformed hero type. Just try.
