  1. Damn that was hard hitting from both players. Naomi got to cut down her unforced errors and not keep going for winners all the time. She has to learn to sometimes be patient and set up her points. She has the game, but if she doesn't cut down her unforced errors, it will be her undoing like all other matches she lost.

  2. If Naomi just back one more step from her base line she will hit back every ball from Putintseva easier, thank God she wins this match, let go deep this tournament cause lot of fans still love you and your tennis Naomi.

  3. I haven’t seen Naomi this trim in a long time. Also her aggressive play and serve seem more ‘Serena’ esque.

  4. The good thing is that the psych yulia is almost 30. So it doesnt take that long she is gonna quit tennis. Would be a good day.
I dont say gratz to naomi. She made to many unforced errors and i dont think she will survive the next match, if she dont cut down her unforced errors.

  5. When I read comments that folks post about players strategies in reference to what they got to do or not do, I can't help but wonder how many of them actually played a sport, any sport..Far less a professional sport! Folks comments about unforced errors🤔Name any play in tennis that an error cannot be extracted from an opposing player? Serving, Volleying, Forehand returns, sliced backhand, down the line returns, cross court, lobbs, drop shots🤔
In reality, the only time a tennis player don't have to make split decisions while sprinting around retrieving and returning balls, is when they're serving! If the serve is to close a match, tie or take a set etc..The tension of the moment can still force a double fault error! After the serve the returns arrives sometimes before the server can move! So when else can you not force an error from your opponent! I'm trying to comprehend why there's an "unforced errors" category..Folks use the term regularly and I don't see a period of any game where the error occur without the pressure of serving without committing double faults or the opponent placement of the balls they return! Maybe some folks who fully understand the rules can explain that🤔

  6. very good win here fir Naomi. That's a win that can build confidence for the rest of the season to set her up well fir Australia. She has been looking fit but just not breaking through mentally, and this was such a mental win here. She could have gone away VERY easily and she didn't. Awesome

  7. Osaka improved so much! She has what it takes to the next level. Her game is exciting now…..Wish her the best of luck..

  8. Good to see Osaka back … I hope both she and Sofia Kenin can make their way back to the top, get another Slam or two each
