Iga was totally outplayed! I can't believe she took any credit for the outcome. Osaka had 54 winners to Iga's 29. Iga didn't win Osaka lost!
Honestly I saw the fear in Iga's eyes from the start of the match until Oaska gifted her the game serving at 5-4 in the 3rd set.

Although Naomi lost, she held her own against the world #1. She gave Iga a run for her money who didn’t just breeze by her as easily as everyone thought she would.
IGA delivered 35 unforced errors=9 games. It is much better then in Tokio (65) but still too much. Japaneese syndrom…???
It's now appears that Osaka is on the way back, if she remains interested and fit she should be dominating next year against the current lot of players, with Rybakina the only real threat.
