  1. As a tennis player, I feel disgusted with how the crowd acted. Naomi worked hard, just like Serena, and for her to have to APOLOGIZE for WINNING?!?!!?? As spectators, we should be careful how we act, because even though many athletes are strong, some comment just get to you, and you loose all that passion to play. Naomi deserved better.

  2. Naomi was going to win this match anyways but Serena always has to make it about herself. The crowd were Classless!!!

  3. My big Champions please don't cry I love you guys I want I want to be like you guys I'm just learning how to do it

  4. I will never forgive the US Open crowd for this tbh

  5. Im glad this happened to naomi early in her career… now she won’t be like Serena and have a false sense of protection form the tennis association

  6. naomi wasnt crying tears of joy, she was heart broken that the entire crowd was booing her, for what? she isnt even doing anything bad , she felt the intense hate from the Americans

  7. Until now I am feeling hurt about the behavior of that crowd. DISGRACEFUL DISGRACEFUL DISGRACEFUL

  8. Why can u blame Naomi. Thanx Serena for the good match. Congrats.

  9. Naomi has stated that she has been suffering with depression since THIS. Imagine winning the match on the dream stage against your idol, something you've imagined since childhood, was supposed to be the day when 17 years of hard work would pay off. However, the overwhelming booing on the podium was an excruciating experience. She must have felt the greatest loneliness on that podium. Serena was her star, and she couldn't blame Serena as she understood Serena's pain. Instead, she suppressed her emotions and tried not to feel anything. If she didn't process this intense trauma and left it unresolved, it's no wonder she would become depressed.
Since then, it seemed like she wasn't enjoying tennis at all.
Even if she wins multiple Grand Slams afterward, the wound doesn't heal, and she can't enjoy tennis itself.
With all she has built up, she can manage on hard courts, but she doesn't even feel the motivation to conquer unfamiliar clay or grass courts. Even if she tries to uplift herself and gives her all, she can't stand up against the media.
    it's really only natural.
It's a serious issue when a professional athlete says, "I want to go home" during a match. I'm glad we still have the video of her playing before she became depressed, in the final of the 2018 US Open. I think she has been carrying the burden of that distortion all by herself since the US Open final ceremony.

When she found out she was pregnant, she said in an interview in Japan, "Now I can definitely become a better player." I sincerely support Naomi Osaka as she enters this new chapter in her life.

  10. What makes Naomi even more amazing is that she WON against a MAN. Serena Williams is a transgender man and one day all the world will know. I know because there is a nurse involved in his ongoing hormone treatment which he has had since a child. One day the whole world will know how Serena and her brother have stolen by fraud the dreams and prize money of real hardworking women athletes in tennis. Well done Naomi. You won AGAINST A MAN. Wow. just wow.

  11. Maybe Serena's behavior is affected by all the steroids she's been put pumping into her body over the years.

  12. Did this whole debacle happen because it was happening in US? With Serena being an American?

  13. My heart heart hurts when she appologize for something that everyone think beating someone in the game is a mistake.

  14. sobbing 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I don't even care for tennis but this got to me…feel the need to reiterate that Naomi is a true champion.

  15. Shameful…fans and serena and organizers. Shameful behavior. Naomi is a star.

  16. You know what? Serena sometimes sucks during the matches. But she is always kind after the game. Not a good day for Serena.
