– November 1975: After returning from the UK tour, the Mika Band suddenly disbanded,
and Takanaka and the other members became free.

・June 1977： "SADISTICS" debut 1st album released (Japan only)
※SADISTICS was formed by the remaining instrumental members except for Mr. and Mrs. Kato（Mika） of the disbanded Mika Band. They released two original albums and a live album.
・August 1978: After a live performance at Kudan Hall Tokyo, the SADISTICS took a hiatus,
and each member started their solo activities after that.
※TAKANAKA became the most successful solo fusion guitar player in the 1980s in Japan.
Drummer Takahashi joined YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra). The other members worked as solo player
and became producers.
※After that, they reunited twice with another woman as replace Mika and put out two albums.
・1989: Reunion. Album "APPARE (Oh my gosh)" released in Japan.
・October 2006: they released the Reunited album “NARKISSOS” (Japan only).
After disbanded in 1975, with the exception of Takahashi (of YMO), the other members were only active in Japan, and most of the many works all of them produced could not be contracted to work overseas.
They were ignored by the foreign media and became hidden works buried in Japan and unknown to foreigners for long time.

マツダ ファミリア系列・・・
89年の春、この曲を街でよく耳にしました
就職した年に任地で買ったCD。「天晴」。タカラモノです。今聞いても新鮮で、しかも懐かしい。ああ、時は流れたんだなあ。
ついに、楽しい車です。

YMO流れでユキヒロが実質ボーカルだね。曲調も後期YMOぽい。

ユキヒロさんはなぜ通常のドラムセット叩かない？
J-WAVE開局時、この曲とCOMPLEXのBE MY BABY が連チャンでかかる事が多くとても興奮した事を覚えてる❕
この曲に限り、どこにトノバンがいるんだろう、と。
素晴らしい楽曲で大好きだけどね。
このアルバムが出た時は桐島かれんの評価があまり高くなかったけど、今見ても全然色あせてなくてスタイリッシュでかっこいい。

子供の頃、YMOが好きだった事もあって「初めて買ったCD」がこの曲でした。
当時、自動車のマツダ ファミリアのTVCMにも使われていたのも印象に残っています。
